20231180 This project consists of the renovation of the existing 330 square foot x-ray room (Rad Room 8) to support a new digital imaging x-ray system where all interior cabinets, wall, floor and ceiling finish materials are to be replaced per the current finish standards, required support and infrastructure for radiation room on the 1st floor at the Lyndon B. To maximize performance and reliability and to obtain the lowest possible let-through voltages, the AC surge protection may be integrated into electrical distribution equipment such as switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, busway (integrated within bus plug), or motor control centers (MCC). Alternately, SPDs may be mounted external to the equipment using approved methods.
