As of January 3, 2022, this RFQ was cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: For RFQ/P Design - East Haddam Elementary School Exterior Restoration and Window Replacement Design Services The Town of East Haddam, Connecticut and the East Haddam Board of Education (collectively the "Town") is soliciting proposals from design or other qualified firms for the following professional services: the exterior restoration and window and door replacements the East Haddam Elementary School. The services required are (1) project design (including cost estimating, schematic design, design development, construction documents and compiling appropriate documentation for state reimbursement); and (2) construction administration. Based upon a preliminary evaluation performed by the Town, the scope of the project is briefly described as follows: Removal and replacement of existing exterior doors and windows, associated masonry wall restoration and any required abatement Any questions or requests for clarifications should be directed to Cynthia Varricchio, Finance Director, at cvarricchio@easthaddam.org. No telephone calls will be accepted. Responses to questions submitted shall be provided to all known respondents to this Request for Qualifications/Proposals. No questions will be accepted or answered after Friday, October 9, 2020. Addendums will be prepared as necessary and distributed to all interested firms. The Town of East Haddam reserves the right to waive any informalities or defects in any qualification or proposal response. The Town reserves the right to accept other than the lowest proposal if the Town, in its sole discretion, deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. Responses, amendments to responses or withdrawal of responses after the time set for qualifications or proposal acceptance will not be considered. As of October 7, 2020, there is no current project value at this time. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
