Site work and new construction of a theater / auditorium in Collingwood, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 43,000-square-foot, 600-seat theater / auditorium; and for site work for a theater / auditorium.
Construction of an Arts and Culture Centre; approx. 43,000 sq ft and include 600-seat theatre, a foyer for events and artists lounge. TIMELINE: Project has been placed on hold. Feasibility study has been completed by the consultant. Architect has completed preliminary designs. Project timelines will be finalized pending funding as well as owner's decision to proceed. Further update early spring 2026. *Current projected cost has been estimated at approx. 67 million for which approx. 45 million would be covered by government funding and approx. 22 million covered by the town.
