This Request for Quotations is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood (the Town) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for the provision of Concrete Sidewalk Construction and Reconstruction, as further described in the RFQ Particulars (the Deliverables). The Scope of work involves replacing existing sidewalk within the Town of Collingwood throughout various locations.Locations my include sections from 1.0m in length up to 40.0m in length. The Town will require the successful contractor to mobilize within the Municipality a minimum of three (3) times within the construction season each year of the contract. From year to year there may also be installation of new sidewalk within the Municipality that either is constructed to achieve safer pedestrian routes, meet development demands, or replacing existing asphalt sidewalk. Provisional items will also include removal and replacement of curb and gutter sidewalk which will be completed on an as needed basis during the term of the contract. Time-frame for Delivery of Goods or Services, or the Duration of the Contract: Two (2) year term with two (2) optional terms of one (1) year each. Award subject to final approval.
