Remove bridge and replace with 30 ft. x 34 ft. steel girder bridge with drilled caisson abutments. Reconstruct approximately 1200 ft. of roadway. Project is located on 58 Road over Big Creek approximately 2 miles south of Colbran, CO. Bid items include Clearing and Grubbing, Asphalt Planing, Road Signs, Removal of Bridge, Sign, Fencing and Guardrail, Structural Backfill, Unclassified Excavation, Reinforcing Steel, Structural Steel, Drilled Cassion (36 in. dia.), base course, asphalt pavement, Erosion Control, Fencing, Guardrail and other related items. Mesa County, in an effort to expedite the bidding process, will be using the web page as a method of getting all pertinent information out on Transportation Capital Projects. All necessary documents including bids sets, specifications, addendum and any addition information will be placed on the web page. These documents will be under the specific project name. An existing irrigation ditch is located adjacent to the project to the east, and is outside the project limits. The ditch will remain undisturbed.
