The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a municipal facility and a fire/police station. As of May 11, 2022, a general contractor has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The owner has selected BD Construction as the Design-Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. 2021 Gibbon, Nebraska The City of Gibbon, Nebraska has accepted Letters of Interest from design-build companies or partnerships interested in pro-viding design-build services for the demolition, renovation and construction of new buildings at the City of Gibbon Fire Hall lo-cated at 714 East 1st Street to become a community building for the services of City Hall, Fire Hall, and Community Center, in accordance with Nebraska. The Letters of Interest have served to pre-qualify design-builders for selection by the City to receive an invitation to provide a Request for Proposal (RFP).
