Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gibbon, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work generally includes but is not limited to site work, tree removal, bank shaping, excavation and fill, lake excavation, drainage channel construction, rock placement, minor concrete work including ADA parking pad and sidewalks, ADA wood fishing piers with timber pile foundations, wood deck construction, installation of ADA floating fishing platform and gangway, planting and installation of floating wetland modules, restoration at completion of the project, and all incidental work necessary to complete the Project as drawn and specified. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Contractors are highly encouraged to visit the site prior to bidding on the project. the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, made payable to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission as Bid security. Bid security shall be considered as liquidated damages and forfeited to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission if the Bidder's proposal is accepted and the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide the required bond(s) and insurance specified. No Bid Bond will be required if the total project cost is less than $50,000. , the successful Bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract sum at the time of contract award if the total project cost exceeds $50,000. No Performance Bond will be required if the Independent Contractor is willing to take a single lumpsum payment once all work has been completed and accepted by the Engineering Division of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission unless the total project cost exceeds $100,000 at the time of contract award. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid Proposal for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for opening of Bids The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any or all informalities or irregularities. MBE (1.4%), WBE (6.9%) The Contractor shall not start work at the site prior to September 2, 2025 ; The Contractor shall have the work substantially complete by March 15, 2026. Final completion shall be prior to April 1, 2026
