Roadway rehabilitation of the West Side Business Park Area which consists of ten (10) individual streets in the City of Temecula: Zevo Drive, Rio Nedo Drive, Avenida Alvarado, Enterprise Circle North, Via Montezuma, Del Rio Road, Las Haciendas Street, Calle Cortez, Business Park Drive and Via Dos Picos. The roadway rehabilitation shall generally consist of the installation of asphalt concrete leveling course, a chip seal with asphalt rubber and aggregate membrane (ARAM), and rubberized type II slurry. The leveling course, ARAM, and slurry activities are to be conducted as NIGHT WORK only. The classification of Contractor's license required in the performance of this Contract is a Class A or C-12. Questions pertaining to this project shall be directed to Shawna Bennetts, P.E., and only submitted through online. A signed bidder's bond by an admitted surety insurer received by the City at the address set forth below; or (3) cash, a cashier's check, or certified check received by, and made payable to the City. The required bidder's security shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the amount of the Contract. In accordance with Government Code Section 53069.85, Contractor agrees to forfeit and pay to City the sum of $1,000 per day for each calendar day completion is delayed beyond the time allowed pursuant to Paragraph 4 of this Contract. Such sum shall be deducted from any payments due to or to become due to Contractor. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to delete portions of the work, or to waive any defect or informality in any bid received.
