Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Millbrae, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.

No estimated time frame yet. ** We request that interested firms submit requests for contract documents directly to qbd@sfwater.org and complete the Confidentiality Agreement - Bid documents must be obtained from the owner** The objective of the project is to repair the differential settlement between the loading dock slab and building entrances for the Millbrae Yard Warehouse. The work is to be performed in San Mateo, California. The Engineers estimate is $700,000.00. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. SFPUC encourages Bidders to submit a Safety Prequalification Form at least 2-weeks prior to the date of Bid opening. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders who have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening. Refer to Bidder Qualifications in Section 00 21 13 and Section 00 45 12 - Safety Prequalification for additional information. A Class Classification A California Contractors License is required to bid. Furthermore, each listed subcontractor must possess appropriate active licenses for the work each subcontractor will be performing. Only San Francisco Contract Monitoring Division certified S.F. Micro-LBE and SFPUC Micro-LBE contractors are eligible to bid on this Contract in accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 14B. Contract will be awarded only to S.F. Micro-LBEs and SFPUC Micro-LBE. Certified Micro- LBE prime Bidders must perform at least 25% of the contract work. Bid discount and Subcontracting Participation Requirements are not applicable to this contract. Please contact Vivian Liu at (415) 551-4814 for further information. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but not limited, to the following major types of work: Concrete Work, Reinforcing Steel, Shoring/Bracing, Earthwork, Paving, Trucking and Hauling, Potholing, Utility Installations, and Plumbing. In accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code (Administrative Code) Chapter 6, no bid is accepted and no contract in excess of $706,000 is awarded by the City and County of San Francisco until such time as (a) the General Manager, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission recommends the contract for award and (b) the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission then adopts a resolution awarding the contract. Pursuant to Charter Section 3.105, all contract awards are subject to certification by the Controller as to the availability of funds. Bidders are hereby advised that the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded must be certified by the Contract Monitoring Division as being in compliance with the Equal Benefits Provisions of Chapter 12B of the City's Administrative Code within two weeks after notification of award by the SFPUC General Manager. This Contract is subject to the requirements of Administrative Code Chapter 12X, which prohibits the City from entering into contracts with companies headquartered in states with laws that perpetuate discrimination against LGBT populations or restrictive abortion laws or where any or all of the work on the contract will be performed in any of those states. Bidders are hereby advised that Bidders, which have their United States headquarters in a state on the Covered State List, as that term is defined in Administrative Code Section 12X.3, or where any or all of the work on the contract will be performed in a state on the Covered State List, may not enter into contracts with the City. A list of states on the Covered State List is referenced in Section 00 45 78. Each Bidder must certify compliance with this requirement as directed If a Bidder objects on any ground to any bid specification or legal requirement imposed by this Invitation to Bid, the Bidder shall, no later than the 10th working day prior to the Bid due date, provide written notice to the Manager, Contract Administration Bureau, setting forth with specificity the grounds for the objection.
