The work is to be performed in San Mateo, California. The Engineers estimate is $700,000.00. The contract will be awarded to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. SFPUC encourages Bidders to submit a Safety Prequalification Form at least 2-weeks prior to the date of Bid opening. Bidders are required to pass the Safety Prequalification prior to SFPUC considering their bid submission complete. SFPUC will notify Bidders who have passed the Safety Prequalification prior to or on the date of Bid opening. A Class Classification A California Contractors License is required to bid. Pursuant to Charter Section 3.105, all contract awards are subject to certification by the Controller as to the availability of funds. Bidders are hereby advised that the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded must be certified by the Contract Monitoring Division as being in compliance with the Equal Benefits Provisions of Chapter 12B of the City's Administrative Code within two weeks after notification of award by the SFPUC General Manager. This Contract is subject to the requirements of Administrative Code Chapter 12X, which prohibits the City from entering into contracts with companies headquartered in states with laws that perpetuate discrimination against LGBT populations or restrictive abortion laws or where any or all of the work on the contract will be performed in any of those states. Bidders are hereby advised that Bidders, which have their United States headquarters in a state on the Covered State List, as that term is defined in Administrative Code Section 12X.3, or where any or all of the work on the contract will be performed in a state on the Covered State List, may not enter into contracts with the City.
