Sealed Bids for furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the FY20 CFP #2 Clearwell Repair Project Contractor is fully responsible for ensuring sealed bid is delivered to Cleveland Utilities by the closing date and time. The Project consists of modification of the inlet and replacing the baffle curtain system in the No. 2 Clearwell (Prestressed Concrete Tank) at the Cleveland (Water Treatment) Filter Plant. All bidders must be licensed Contractors in compliance with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractors Licensing Act. Bidders must be listed on Engineers list of plan holders who have purchased the Contract Documents and Specifications. The allotted time for construction is to be one hundred and five (105) consecutive calendar days. It is the policy of Cleveland Utilities to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations to that end that no person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance or any other funding source on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, or ancestry. By virtue of submitting a response to this solicitation, bidders agree to comply with the same non-discrimination policy.
