Tarrant County College District (the "College") is requesting proposals from qualified general contractors to perform miscellaneous minor construction and repair services. The College intends to award this work through Job Order Contract(s) as outlined in Section 44.041 of the Texas Education Code. Contracts may be awarded to one or more firms for an initial twenty-four (24) month term from the date of contract award. By mutual written agreement, the contract(s) may be extended for up to three (3) consecutive additional twelve (12) month periods, beginning immediately after the expiration of the prior twenty-four (24) month term. Extensions, if any, will be predicated upon performance and value provided to the District at a minimum. Job Order Contracts may be awarded up to a limit of $500,000 per job with TCCD Board approval and up to $3,000,000, in aggregate, over a twelve-month period. There will be no minimum work guaranteed under this agreement; annual spend is estimated to be approximately $5M (subject to change). The Contractor is not guaranteed to receive this volume of Job Orders. It is merely an estimate. Selection as a Job Order Contractor, in and of itself, is not a guarantee of work.
