Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Duncan, British Columbia. Working plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Proposed construction of a pump station that will pump effluent treated to a secondary level from the JUB STP near Duncan, via a new forcemain, to a new outfall located in the marine waters at the embayment line for Cowichan Bay. The project may also involve undertaking a drainage study for a portion of the Cowichan Reserve which will include the development of a computer model of the minor and major drainage systems, and the concept design of the minor and major drainage systems, and the locating and conceptual level sizing of pump stations (minor and major). This item is provisional and will only be undertaken if the selected route runs through the Cowichan Reserve south of the Cowichan River. TIMELINE: Plans are complete. Tenders and construction schedules may be available in late spring 2025, pending budget approvals.
