Renovation of an educational facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Alaska Pacific University (APU) seeks to repair damage from the November 30, 2018 earthquake to the Mosely Sports Center located on 4400 University Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508. The duration of the work is 60 days from notice to proceed. A notice to proceed is anticipated in early January, 2021. The amount of the bid guarantee / bid bond shall be 5% of the bid price or $3,000,000 whichever is less. The clauses in the C-700 General Conditions related to site conditions will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Requests for information may be submitted during normal business hours by contacting Bethany Jones, Senior Contracting Officer, at e-mail address bajones@anthc.org. Any questions regarding the bid must be in writing. Any inquiries or questions concerning this project must be received in writing end of business day November 25th, 2020 to allow for responses without delaying award of a contract. Inquiries received after this time frame may not receive a response. All inquiries regarding the Scope of Work, Specifications, and/or Plans, must be submitted in writing.everal APU campus buildings experienced considerable damage and require restoration due to the 2018 earthquake. APU is applying with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for funding assistance in restoring its properties to pre-disaster conditions. This project pertains to the Moseley Sports Center.
