Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Springfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work includes the structural design, fabrication, storage, delivery, installation, and assembly of a precast, reinforced concrete box culvert with corresponding precast reinforced wingwalls. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the Springfield Township Board of Supervisors in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Notice is hereby given to bidders that 442, P.L. 987), as amended. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. The Springfield Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. This work is the structural design, manufacture, storage, delivery, installation, backfilling, and assembly of precast reinforced concrete box culvert segments into one continuous unit, and the manufacture, storage, delivery, installation, and assembly of the corresponding precast reinforced concrete wingwalls and headwall.
