Site work and paving for a road / highway in Springfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 20, 2022, per the owner work is expected to begin in late July 2022. MS-944: Contract No. 1 - Mill and remove approximately 3,050 SY bituminous material. Supply and place approximately 2,500 tons of various bituminous concrete material throughout the Township. Contract No. 2 - Supply and place approximately 750 tons of Micro-Surface Type A (at double application rate) through the Township. MS-963: Contract No. 3 - Provide approximately 1,000 tons of various bituminous Superpave materials All materials shall conform to current PennDOT specifications. Clarification Deadline: 3/28/2022 5:00 PM The Expected Contract Value for all 3 contracts is $243,000 A Bid Bond is not required. The successful bidder(s), when awarded a contract, shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond (with suitable surety) in the amount as specified in the Contract. Notice is hereby given to bidders that the MS-944 Contracts are subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Spring Garden Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make an award in the best interest of the Township. Spring Garden Township Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
