Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in San Luis Obispo, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Building 19/19A and Plaza renovation project is a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Project with Specialty Construction Inc. serving as the Construction Manager (CM) and Pfeiffer Partners Architects Inc. serving as the Project Architect. The project is currently at the 95% Construction Document Phase and is currently under review at the Office of the State Fire Marshall. At the conclusion of the design phase, SCI will enter in to a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract with the Trustees (Cal Poly) and will in effect become the General Contractor (At Risk). At this current stage in the project, the project team is soliciting proposals for the below referenced specialty contractor firm(s) to join the team as Design Assist partners and enter in to a preconstruction contract with SCI to provide preconstruction services. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is requesting proposals for the following scopes: Kitchen equipment procurement and installation
