Completed plans call for the addition of a 39,200-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

To be eligible to provide labor, materials or equipment on this public work, each subcontractor must be qualified pursuant to NRS 338.16991. This phase of work consists of demolition of the existing gymnasium building and construction of a new +/- 39,200 square foot 2-story Classroom Building. Work within the existing school includes abatement/demo and construction of a renovated administration area, newly expanded multipurpose room, updated CLS classroom, and teacher work room in the Summer 2021 through Summer 2022. The site improvements include construction of new landscaping islands, landscaping/irrigation, fencing, trash enclosure, basketball courts, paved fire access road, new chiller and chiller enclosure, new condensing equipment and equipment pad/enclosure, and courtyard improvements in the Summer 2022. The building improvement trades include, but are not limited to: asbestos abatement, selective demolition, structural concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, structural steel, wood framing, casework, thermal insulation, stucco, single ply roofing, metal siding, asphalt composition shingle repairs, caulking and sealants, doors/frames & hardware, overhead coiling doors, glass & glazing, skylights, metal stud/ drywall/ acoustical, polished concrete floors, resilient flooring and base, fluid applied flooring, painting, wall graphics, visual display boards, toilet partitions & accessories, interior & exterior signage, lockers, fire extinguishers, residential equipment, science casework and fixtures, elevator, window blinds, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinklers, electrical, audio enhancement, intercom systems improvements, voice evacuation fire alarm system, bi-directional antenna system and clock speaker system. Plans will be available and issued to qualified subcontractors for bidding in mid January 2021 with a late February 2021 Bid Date.
