PROJECT DESCRIPTION (approx. quantities) This project will consist of construction for four (4) facilities: Construction of four separate facilities will be included and are as follows: Petroleum Operations Building (444 SM) Liquid Maintenance Facility (445 SM) LOX Storage Canopy (173 SM) De-icing Liquid Storage Facility (96 SM) Construction includes reinforced concrete footings, floor slab, supporting structure, and egress. Facilities require all necessary site work, utilities, mechanical, electrical, fire protection systems, back-up power and all other required support. Force protection includes reinforced exterior walls, blast-proof windows, and passive barriers. Overall project also includes the safe removal of multiple facilities. Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development, and construction of the project in accordance with Executive Order 13423, 10 USC 2802 (c), and other applicable laws and Executive Orders. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete the work in the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 540 calendar days) after receipt of NTP. Clauses will be included for Liquidated Damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.
