Site work for a water / sewer project in Rockledge, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Brevard County Purchasing Services, on behalf of the Utilities Department, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to installation of a temporary force main by-pass, replacement of an existing Air Release Valve (ARV), installation of a new in ground structure housing the ARV, and installation of an in-line 30" gate valve. Location: ARV assembly to be replaced is located at the intersection of Wickham Rd. and the southbound off ramp for Interstate 95 Contractor shall furnish and install the following: o Provide a 30" force main by-pass system, per Sheet C-1, throughout the duration of the construction project. o Demolition of the existing ARV, valve vault and cover. o Furnish and install two (2) 30" line stops with blind flanges as shown on Sheet C-1. o Furnish and Install 30" Gate Valve. o Furnish and Install 30" X 6" Tee. o Furnish and install 6" NPT ARV as shown on Sheet C-2. o Install new in ground ARV valve vault and cover per drawing and detail on Sheet C-2. o Contractor shall restore sod, landscaping, and sidewalk with like materials upon completion of the project. o Contractor is responsible for furnishing, installing, and maintaining silt fencing throughout the duration of the project (See Sheet C-2). o Contractor is responsible for all Maintenance of Traffic per DOT Index 611. o All work is to comply with FDOT and Brevard County Standards.
