The Brevard County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting bids and proposals for a variety of goods and services; such as, construction, equipment, and architectural/engineering services. Current bidding information is posted on our website. B-7-21-74 Brevard County Utility Services Department Manhole Repairs. The work consists of rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer manholes in various stages of deterioration. Rehabilitation by Contractors will restore the manholes and provide protection by eliminating infiltration and corrosion to the manhole interior. Corrosion protection consists of coating the manhole interior with the specified coating system. The approved coating system shall be applied to all brick, concrete, grout, mortar and cementitious surfaces within the manhole, including pipes, rebuilding within the manhole, bench, risers, cones, adjusting rings etc. Coating of the metallic manhole frame and cover shall not be required. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and services necessary for wastewater manhole/structure rehabilitation. The work shall be completed at various locations within Brevard County's wastewater service areas, and shall include alteration of wastewater flow and/or bypass pumping, maintenance of traffic, removal and disposal of all sand, deposits and other accumulated debris and adjusting and replacing ring (frame) and cover castings.
