Design-Build On-Call Task Order services related to renovation and or expansion of various Park Facilities in their Park System, Questions Due Date: Jan 4th 2021, 12:00 PM EST Any inquiries regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing no later than Noon-Local Time, Monday, January 04, 2021 to: Newton County Purchasing Office, Attn: Randi Fincher, 1113 Usher Street, Suite 204 Covington, GA 30014 or email: rfincher@co.newton.ga.us. Questions will be answered at the mandatory pre-submission conference and/or in writing by addendum. Questions received after this time will not receive a response. Bid/Performance Bond: Provide a Bid Bond in accordance with the language identified within the Bid Bond Form. Refer to Attachment N for details. If this Proposal shall be accepted by Newton County and the undersigned shall fail to execute a satisfactory contract in the form of said proposed Contract, give satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, or furnish satisfactory proof of the insurance required, as stated in the Instructions to Bidders within ten (10) days from the Notice of Award of the Contract, then Newton County may at its option, determine that the undersigned abandoned the Contract and thereupon this Request for Proposals shall be null and void, and the sum stipulated in the attached Bid Bond. Newton County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, including without limitation, the right to reject any Proposal that the OWNER believes would not be in the best interest of the Project.
