As of January 11, 2022, the owner is reviewing and negotiating a guaranteed maximum price with the construction manager at risk. The project is expected to go for board approval in February 2022. Construction could follow in Spring 2022 with a 12 month duration. An architect was awarded by the School Board at their meeting on March 24, 2021. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified Architects, licensed in the State of Florida, to provide Design Services for the development of permitted design documents for FACILITIES RENOVATIONS AND REPAIR AT LIMESTONE CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The Architect shall provide all professional services necessary to deliver permitted design documents within the established Construction Budget and in accordance with the established Design Schedule. The Architect shall provide validation of Owner Facilities Assessments Surveys and all design services necessary to establish permitted design documents as required and directed by District staff including, but not limited to, ADA and CSIR compliance requirements, renovation and repair to school facilities which may include, but not be limited to, exterior doors and windows, roof repair, electrical and lighting replacement, intercom/sound system, security system, fire alarm system, HVAC and plumbing systems, paving and play court resurfacing, marquees and scoreboards and other Work as may be required.
