Renovation of a municipal facility in Waterloo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Bids are requested for the following contracts in accordance with Drawings, Project Manuals, and other Bidding and Contract Documents prepared by John Snyder Architects, PLLC: Contract 1 - General Construction (GC) Each bidder shall submit with its bid a separate sealed list that names each subcontractor that the bidder will use to perform work on the contract, and the agreed-upon amount to be paid to each, for: (a) site work (b) general construction (c) electric wiring and standard illuminating fixtures. After the low bid is announced, the sealed list of subcontractors submitted with such low bid shall be opened and the names of such subcontractors shall be announced, and thereafter any change of subcontractor or agreed-upon amount to be paid to each shall require the approval of the public owner, upon a showing presented to the public owner of legitimate construction need for such change, which shall be open to public inspection. Copies of the above described Contract Documents may be examined at: Offices of John Snyder Architects, 700 Cascadilla Street Suite 203, Ithaca, NY 14850 Plan and Print Systems, Inc.: 6160 Eastern Ave Syracuse, NY 13211 The project consists of demolition of the existing stairs and ramp, preparing existing foundations for new construction, providing a new concrete lower ramp portion, and providing a new upper ramp portion with stairs made of pressure treated wood. This work will also include new metal pipe guard rails, metal handrails, and pressure treated wood guard rails as depicted in the drawings. Seneca County reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all Bids. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and prevailing wage rates to be paid under the Contract. Contractor to start work immediately after given the notice to proceed. Scope of work to be completed within sixty (60) days after start of the work. No Bidders may withdraw Bids within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
