Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The Project consists of: IMPROVEMENTS TO AIR QUALITY AND SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCING THROUGH UPGRADES IN HVAC, CONTROL OF SOCIAL DISTANCING AND HANDS-FREE DEVICES TO RESPOND TO COVID-19 Work in the Main Office building of the Waltham Housing Authority Main Office building, 110 Pond St, Waltham MA at the entrance, Lobby, Administration office, bathrooms, and HVAC equipment to improve COVID-19 safety for staff and the public, consisting of enhancements to the following: HVAC equipment air filtering Control of public building access Protection for staff and public at service windows Hands free toilets, lavatory faucets, hand dryers, soap & hand sanitizer dispensers Remote mail and parcel drop off Addition of doors for separation distancing Office Power, lighting, flooring, and painting COVID safety signage The work is estimated to cost $213,500 (including all alternates). General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the WALTHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY. a performance and payment bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the contract price; or, as may be required or permitted by State law; The Contractor shall commence work under this Contract on the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" and shall bring the Work to Substantial Completion within 90 calendar days of said date.
