Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Livingston, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of three schedules: Schedule I - 6th Street Water Improvements Schedule II - 7th Street Water Improvements Schedule III - 6th & 7th Street Water Improvements The work is described as: the construction of 8" diameter water mains (remove and replace), fittings, valves, fire hydrants, water service connections to the new water main, bedding material, backfill, dewatering (if necessary), compaction testing, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway approaches, concrete curb (straight) removal and replacement, asphalt removal and replacement, concrete removal and disposal and all other miscellaneous work related to construction of a complete and operable water and street system on 6th and 7th Street between Callender Street and Geyser Street. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier Check, or Bid Bond payable to Citv of Livingston. in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid (Schedule III). Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The right is reserved to rejects any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the OWNER.
