The City of Livingston Bennett Street Water Loop Extension: 100 consecutive calendar days Work to be performed under this contract includes the construction of water mains (new), jack and bore under railroad, fittings, valves, bedding material, backfill, dewatering (if necessary), compaction, testing, asphalt removal and replacement, and all other work related to construction of a complete and operable water system. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the requirements of the contract documents The project is in MDT and BNSF right-of-way and there will be a significant component of coordination with these agencies and City of Livingston Public Works. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to City of Livingston, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the OWNER.
