Site work and paving for a road / highway in Banks, Oregon. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Banks Transportation System Plan identified traffic deficiencies at the intersection of Main Street, Banks Road and Cedar Canyon Road and a need for increased capacity in anticipation of future development and growth in east Banks. The project team will evaluate two design alternatives: a signalized intersection and a roundabout. Impacts to commercial and residential properties will be evaluated. Impacts to wetlands located on the east side of Highway 47 (Main Street) will be avoided, if possible. As of December 28, 2022, construction timeline is Spring 2024-Fall 2024. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
