**As of January 19, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. Construction of a 100,000 gallon ground storage tank and all associated appurtenances. 2. Construction of a 20' x 24' pump and control building, all associated pumps, valves, piping, site piping, electrical improvements, and associated appurtenances. 3. Improvements to an existing chlorination system including all necessary system hardware, piping, site piping, electrical improvements, and associated appurtenances. Please submit questions for this project at least 5 business days prior to bid opening through online or to Mathew Armstrong, P.E. at marmstrong@ksaeng.com. All addenda issued for this project will only be posted on online. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Wolfe City or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract. The Work will be substantially completed within 270 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 300 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The City of Wolfe City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Wolfe City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
