Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cicero, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of March 24 2021 project was not yet been awarded. No estimated time frame yet. No question will be allowed or answered at the Wa lk-Thru. The Districts portal will be used for any questions as indicated in the invitation to Bid documents for this contract. Bidders are required to sign the Pre-Bid Site walk-thorough attendance sheets and the Site Visit Release And Indemnity Agreement. Bidders shall contact the Resident Engineer, David Golden, at 708-588-4190, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., for further information. Bidders are encouraged to attend. The estimated cost of the work under this Contract is $6,000,000.00. The work under this Contract is classified as General and Heavy Construction for the Minority owned Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE) and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) Utilization goals contained in the Affirmative Action Ordinance Revised Appendix D. The associated goals are 20% Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE), 10% Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), 10% Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and 3% Veterans Business Enterprises (VBE). The MBE, WBE, SBE and VBE utilization goals do not apply to the work assigned to Headworks Inc. to furnish and deliver new Coarse Screens.
