DESCRIPTION: This project proposes to construct 1,165 LF of 4" PVC force main including valves, fittings and a 4"x4" wet tap; 75 LF of directional boring; and restoration. Construction of force main shall result in an operational system as required by FDEP and St. Lucie County Regulations. All Bidders are required to submit a five percent (5%) Bid Bond with the Bid Form or their bid shall be rejected as non-responsive. A one hundred percent (100%) Public Construction Bond is required upon notification of St. Lucie County's intention to award the contract to the apparent successful bidder. Bidders Shall Submit One (1) Marked Original and Two (2) Photocopies of the Completed Bid Package in a Sealed Envelope. The Project Name, Bid Number, and time and date of the Bid opening shall be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope. Facsimile responses shall not be accepted. It is the bidder's/proposers responsibility to ensure that bids/proposals are received in the Purchasing Department prior to the date and time specified above. Receipt of a bid/proposal in any other County office does not satisfy this requirement. Bidders may not withdraw their Bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening date.
