A description of the Project is as follows:Scope of Work: The Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing decorative concrete surface, complete preparation, regrading, and waterproofing of the underlying concrete surface, and installation of porcelain tile. Drainage improvements consist of excavation and disposal of existing fill material in large planter areas, installation of geotextile/filter fabric, importing and backfilling 3/4 -inch wash rock and decorative rock, and installation of trench drains. Ancillary work includes tree relocations, sod work, removal of light bollards, removal of irrigation system, and site restoration, per bid document specifications.Project Location: 777 Sawgrass Corporate Parkway, Sunrise, FL 33325 Qualification Requirement: The vendor shall have a valid State of Florida General Contractor's License or Certified Building Contractor's License with experience installing under-tile waterproofing systems to exposed balconies. Additionally, part of the work will require a Certified Plumbing Contractor. The vendor must have successfully completed at least three (4) projects of similar type and complexity within the last five (5) years. The City shall be the sole and final judge in determining if the Contractor meets the Qualification Requirement. The City will also follow Center for Disease Control (CD C) recommended guidelines for this meeting, including social distancing practices. Following the Pre-Bid Conference, a Site Visit will be made. Contractors are responsible for bringing any required sub-contractors to this Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and to the Mandatory site visit. This site visit conducted by the City will be the only time Contractors will be granted access to the site.
