As of March 3rd 2021 no award has been made yet on this project and a timeline for the award has not been released yet The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, products, equipment, tools, supplies, and incidentals necessary for: *Demolition of the existing Dickson Spring water treatment facility; *Furnishing and installing pumps and 30HP motors in two existing 8-inch raw water wells; *Furnishing and installing a 1.0 mgd ACTIFLO TURBO sand ballasted package clarifier; *Furnishing and installing a 1.0 mgd dual cell WESTECH package gravity filter system with 50HP backwash pump, *Furnishing and installing two 125 HP vertical turbine high service pumps and appurtenances; *Furnishing and installing one 50x100 pre-engineered metal building and appurtenances; *Constructing reinforced concrete building foundation and a 150,000 gallon subsurface clear well; and, related chemical feed systems, metering vaults, electrical work and controls, yard piping, septic tank system, dual backwash sludge lagoons, site grading, grassing, landscaping, erosion control, fencing, paving, and other incidentals required for construction and start-up of a complete and functioning water treatment and pumping facility. The Project will be funded by Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) under the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program. Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. In accordance with O.C.G.A. 43-41-1, Bidders must submit a photocopy of their Georgia Contractor License. Contractors must comply with all provision of the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act (O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 and O.C.G.A. 50-36-1). The Successful Bidder must certify compliance with all applicable state and federal laws regarding maintaining a drug-free workplace. The Successful Bidder will be required to certify compliance with federal Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, compliance with federal Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Requirements (Davis Bacon Wages), and compliance with all other state and federal laws and regulations applicable to funding under Georgia Environmental Finance Authoritys Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of Bids, during which time the Bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made on the basis of selected alternatives to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.
