Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.

The Board of Education of the Grosse Pointe Public School System, Wayne County, Michigan, will receive sealed bids for the improvements to the Auditorium Rigging and Drapery at Parcells Middle School. The work generally consists of: Demolition of the existing theatrical rigging and drapery systems completely including the entire counter weight system. Installation of four (4) drill operated winch line sets for the four existing electrical battens. Hang new dead-hung tracks and pipe battens to complete the new rigging system. Hang new theatrical drapery to complete the new rigging System. Install a new electrically operated projection screen. Bid documents will also be available for examination (no purchase) at the following locations: Ehresman Architects Grosse Pointe Public School System The bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District. The board will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. The bids shall also be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Certification. The Board will not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized certification. Grosse Pointe Public School System's Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bid Proposals, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, or to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Bid Proposal (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion.
