Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ankeny, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Install approximately 2,800 LF of 12" distribution water main on the west side of NW State Street from West 1st Street to NW 10th Street. There is an existing 6" water main in this section that needs to be upsized. The purpose of this project is to connect the 12" distribution water main along NW State Street from West 1st Street to NW 10th Street in order to remove a bottleneck during high water demand periods and improve fire flows northwest of this location. As of June 26, 2025, this project is still in the conceptual phase. Design will not begin until 2027. A timeline for construction has not yet been established.
