Site work and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Bluffdale, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Install a new water line, along with the installation of decorative street lighting. Construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways and excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction and digging, ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy conservation ,Paving service including highway paving and road paving and infrastructure building services and parking lot and surfacing services. The project is located along Porter Rockwell Blvd Segment 4, from Harmon Day Drive west to the Jordan Narrows and along Porter Rockwell Blvd Segment 5, from Redwood Road east to the Jordan Narrows, in the city of Bluffdale, Utah. Lighting project are approximately as follows: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials required to install a new water line, along with the installation of decorative street lighting, according to plans, City standards and specifications. All construction MUST be coordinated with UDOT and its contractor. Note that is a phased project. Bids will require the uploading of attachments. All attached documents shall be labeled and uploaded as separate files. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted electronically through U3P with the bid. The principal items of work in the Porter Rockwell Boulevard Segments 4 & 5 - Water Line & Street Lighting project are approximately as follows: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials required to install a new water line, along with the installation of decorative street lighting, according to plans, City standards and specifications. Phase one includes all work up to Station No. 117+00 and then from Station No. 132+00 to the end (Harmon Day Drive). Phase two starts at Station 117+00 and ends at 132+00 (except for the Porter Rockwell Bridge) and will BEGIN once construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk and road pavement are complete. This is expected to occur before March 1, 2022. The project is to be completed by:Phase 1: October 1, 2021,Phase 2: May 1, 2022 Bluffdale City Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or any part of any proposal, including the right to waive any informalities in any part of any proposal within the best interest of Bluffdale City. Payment Bond secures the payment of the claims of laborers, mechanics or material person employed on the work under the contract. Performance Bond guarantees the faithful performance of the contract. Each bond must equal 100 percent of the contract price. The City may make alterations, extensions of time, extra and additional work, and other changes authorized by the contract without securing the consent of the surety or sureties on the contract bonds. The City cancels all work on the contract, unless the City determines it is in the public interest to continue the work if a Contractor's surety is unable to provide payment.
