The Ottawa County Engineers Office is requesting price quotes for the removal and disposal of trees at various locations along county roads. Enclosed is a list of the locations and photographs of the trees. All logs, brush and stump material are to be removed from the site. Work is permitted Monday through Friday only. Ottawa County is requesting the work be completed by April 30, 2021. Alternate dates for completions will be considered and should be included on the proposal form. The successful contractor will be required to provide their work schedule prior to doing the work. This is so the county may visit the job site for inspection purposes. Proper signage, flaggers and safety equipment will be required during construction. Questions regarding the specifics of this project shall be submitted on the enclosed Inquiry Form. The current state of Ohio Prevailing Wage threshold is $27,950. The right to require prevailing wage payments is reserved if the quote or final cost for this project is close to, equal to or surpasses the State of Ohio established limitation. Total project costs under this limit will negate the requirement for the contractor to pay State of Ohio Prevailing Wages on this project.
