St. Louis County Project No. AR-1497 Federal Project No. STP-5558(608) E-W GATEWAY TIP NO. 6745F-18 consists of the removal and replacement of deteriorated and/or damaged pavement, pavement surfacing and texturing, Superpave asphaltic concrete overlay, construction of new sidewalks and mixed-use trails, storm sewers and pipe culverts, guardrail, traffic signal conduit and pull boxes, and sodding on McKelvey Road from Ameling Road to Glenpark Drive within St. Louis County and other incidental items necessary to complete the above in a workmanlike manner. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on a public works project shall provide a ten (10) hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. All checks shall be made payable to "Treasurer, St. Louis County."
