Site work and paving for a civil project in Hawthorne, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for Road Reconstruction of Lake Susan Road (0.55 mile west of CR 21 to CR 21). The work shall consist of, but not limited to; grading, paving, and drainage improvements, including installation of temporary erosion control measures, clearing and grubbing, subgrade preparation, road base preparation, asphaltic concrete paving, roadside drainage ditches, installing RCP drainage culverts and structures, and other incidental work. The project is located at Lake Susan Road from CR 21 going west, for a distance of approximately 0.55 miles. The project is being funded thru Small County Outreach Program Agreement (SCOP) with the Florida Department of Transportation under Financial Project ID: 435331-3-54-01. This bid requires that the Prime Contractor must be pre-qualified by the Florida Department of Transportation. Pre-qualification work classes shall be: Drainage, Grading, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant-Mixed Bituminous Courses. Answers to questions received will be posted online with the bid documents. Questions must be received at least 7 days prior to bid opening. The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
