Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Design plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of April 5, 2023, an architect and engineer has been selected. A bid date for a contractor was projected for mid-March ending of April and the awarded firm is scheduled to be selected by May 2023. Construction is estimated to begin by June 2023. A firm timeline for construction completion has not been established but projected to be completed by July 2024. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. Construction of the new South End Fire Station located at 69 School Street, Seekonk, MA 02771 The new station will allow for four dispatchers opposed to two, offices for the Communications Director office and Telecommunications Specialist, breakroom, and isolated access points for dispatch area.
