Fond du Lac Avenue-County Line Road Cured-in-Place Lining Project Project scope is anticipated to include cured-in-place-pipe lining 7,654 +- L.F. of 48" dia. municipal sanitary interceptor sewer primarily along Fond du Lac Avenue and County Line Road (CTH-Q). Scope also includes 2+- lateral reinstatements, cementitious and epoxy lining 530+- V.F. of manhole rehabilitation. The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Qualification of Bidder forms for the current year shall be on file with the office of the Department of Public Works at least five (5) days prior to the affixed time of the Bid Opening, in accordance with Section 66.29 of the Wisconsin Statutes. A certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Germantown in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement, the performance bond, the payment bond, and the certificate of insurance, as required by the Contract Documents, within ten (10) business days after the Notice of Award. Failure on the part of the bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's certified check or bid bond to the Village as liquidated damages. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a performance bond and a payment bond acceptable to the Village of Germantown for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price for each of the above bonds, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Village. The Village of Germantown reserves the right to accept any bid most advantageous to the Village, waive any technicality or reject any or all bids.
