Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

Runway 8-26 will be rehabilitated to improve drainage, line of sight and other non-standard conditions. This is the second of three construction phases. The project will include the following items of work: Runway Safety Area grading, drainage pipe installation, milling of existing runway pavement, reconstruction of taxiway pavement section, and a FAA P-401 bituminous asphalt variable depth overlay. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid. A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond each equal to 100 percent of the Contract Price will be required for the successful Contractor. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days after the date of receiving bids.
