Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Berkshire, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a bid security (i.e. certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of $45,400 for C ). All successful bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond pursuant to Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 for C, Bidders are warned that time is of the essence of the Contract and substantial completion of the Work must be by September 17, 2021. All bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. OGS hereby establishes an overall goal of 10% for MWBE participation, 5% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises ("MBE") participation and 5% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises ("WBE") participation (based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs) for Construction Work. The total contract goal can be obtained by utilizing any combination of MBE and /or WBE participation for subcontracting and supplies acquired under this Contract.
