Each bid over $500,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by the Respondent and payable to County of Kent for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting quotations for roof tear off and replacement at Dutton Shadyside Park, Townsend Park, and Wabasis Lake Park. Work to be completed by 5/01/2021. Remove existing roofing, underlayment, and drip edge to original sheathing Remove and replace/repair any rotted sheathing Re-nail existing plywood or other boards as needed Furnish and install new 1 1/2 " T-style drip edge (Color: Brown) Furnish and install a minimum of one (1) course of ice and water shield up from the roof eve Furnish and install ice and water shield the entire length of any valleys Furnish and cover remaining roof with a synthetic roofing underlayment Furnish and install a Lifetime Architectural Shingle (Color: Weathered Wood) Furnish and replace all flashing, pipe boots, and vents Vents must be slant-back aluminum in a coordinating color Furnish and install new cap on all hips and ridge Dispose of all removed materials properly All lawn/landscaping areas shall be restored to their pre-construction status No Bid Bond is required if a bid is less than $500,000.
