Consultant will work with Kent County Parks Staff and engage with local leaders/stakeholders in development of the manual and graphics outlined below: 1) A digital design manual that will include the following: 1. Exterior Signage Design and Wayfinding (entry signs, kiosks, etc.) 2. Standards for Regulatory Signs and Rules 3. Wayfinding signage size, material, color, typeface 4. Pictogram standards 5. Graphic standards for trail hierarchy 6. Graphic standards for developing wayfinding maps 7. Basic generic signage location/placement (not an in-depth study) a. Trail/Street/Road - Crossings, Entry, Exit b. Water Trails - generic placement for visibility, launches 8. Fabrication specifications 9. Installation specifications 2) Digital design templates (Illustrator) for directional signage, trail maps. 3) The wayfinding system shall be uniform across all types of trails, from paved shared-path systems, to nature trails, to equestrian and water trails. No Bid Bond is required if a bid is less than $500,000. Each bid over $500,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by the Respondent and payable to County of Kent for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds or Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds must file a certified effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. Each contract over $50,000 must be accompanied by a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each payable to the Owner (County of Kent) and each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the funding agency, for the faithful performance of the contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
