Renovation of a mixed-use development in Vancouver, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 21,000-square-foot, three-story above grade, 44-unit multi-residential development; and retail development.
The Carl Rooms is 21,000 square feet, three storey building constructed in 1920, houses 44 Single Residential Occupancy (SRO) suites and three Commercial Retail Unit (CRU). The renovations are to include new architectural finishes, mechanicals, electrical improvements, and structural upgrades. Purpose of the renovation is to increase safety and improve living conditions for residents, tenants, and staff in both SRO (Single Residential Occupancy) and CRU (Commercial Retail Unit) spaces. TIMELINE: Request for proposal from prime consulting services for full consulting and engineering services is cancelled. Project will no longer going to be completed. Coverage is discontinued.
