Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (City) of its intent to contract with Go Deep International (N.B.) Inc. in BC ("Go Deep") for marine engineering design and supply of 14 channel buoys as well as additional buoy anchoring systems. The City of Vancouver Transportation Design Branch intends to upgrade 14 marine buoys to mark the functional navigational channel for boaters in False Creek. As part of this work, a material supplier is needed to provide site specific engineering design and supply of the marine buoys to meet specific Transport Canada regulatory requirements as well as provide additional buoy anchor systems suitable for this busy urban waterway. The work includes providing specialized replacement anchor systems for three existing buoys previously been supplied by Go Deep and their predecessor Tidal Marine. Go Deep has specialized experience providing high quality buoy systems in False Creek for the City in a constrained marine environment. The contract is valued at approximately $50,000.00 CND.
