The Work of this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services and incidentals; and of performing all work necessary to complete all specified work in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared therefore and entitled Pennies for Progress Galleria Blvd. Extension Project. The work generally consists of the extension of Galleria Blvd. roadway, sidewalk, shared use path, water and sewer facilities for 1/2 mile to tie to the S-50 (Red River Rd.)/S-654 (Waterford Park Dr.) intersection, including improvements to the S-50 (Red River Rd.)/S-654 (Waterford Park Dr.) intersection. The total length of improvements for the project is 0.869 miles. Each Bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or Bid Bond made payable to the OWNER in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid if the total amount of the bid exceeds $30,000. Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed Contract to the OWNER, a Bidder to whom a Contract has been awarded must deliver to the OWNER executed Performance and Indemnity and Payment Bonds on the prescribed forms each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Contract Amount, as security for the faithful performance of the Contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or any part of any Bid, to waive any informality in any Bid, or to re-advertise for all or part of the work contemplated. If Bids are found to be acceptable by the OWNER, written Notice of Award will be given to the lowest responsible Bidder of the acceptance of his Bid and of the award of the Contract to him.
