Survey Monument Box Installation Contract. The estimated expense for this contract will be $225,000 - $270,000. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount allowable under the contract on the County's Bid Guaranty Form may be required. The County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the County it is in the public interest to do so. The Washington County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County. This work consists of installing survey monument boxes at various locations on roads in Washington County according to the following Specifications and Special Conditions. The Contract includes installation of 178 monument box frames and covers. The Contract also includes installation of additional monument boxes on various county roads as requested by the County. Washington County will furnish the monument boxes including frame and cover. The Contractor will be responsible for providing traffic control for all aspects of the work.
