As of June 23, 2022, a general contractor was awarded and construction is complete. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: In general, Schedule I (Federal) work includes mill and asphalt overlay (P-401) of Runway 16L-34R and portions of Taxiway B1, B2 and B4. The work also includes asphalt pavement grooving, thermoplastic and waterborne pavement markings. Airfield electrical improvements include removal of existing electrical infrastructure and installation of runway LED edge lights, guidance signs, taxiway edge lights, conduit, cabling, and vault modifications. In general, Schedule II (Federal) work includes the removal of existing Taxiway B2 and construction of new Taxiway B2 with a pavement section consisting of aggregate base course (P-154), Cement Treated Base Course (P-304) and bituminous base course (P-403) and bituminous surface course (P-401). Additional improvements include unclassified excavation, asphalt and CTB removal, infield grading, top-soiling, seeding, drainage infrastructure, thermoplastic and waterborne pavement markings. Electrical improvements include removal of existing electrical infrastructure and installation of, guidance signs, taxiway edge lights, conduit, and cabling. In general, Schedule III (Non-Federal) includes crack seal and seal coat of runway shoulders and blast pads.
