Shippensburg University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites General Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this project at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania consists of removal and replacement of damaged concrete sidewalks and curbing along with the construction of new concrete sidewalks and curbing, Work shall be accomplished by a single prime contractor, and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the Shippensburg University. Any required asphalt restoration associated with the project will be handled under a separate contract. Questions submitted no later than: 4:00 PM on Wednesday February 17, 2021 The date for commencement of the Work is the date of the Notice to Proceed. It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about May 14, 2021. Unless otherwise specified in the Notice to Proceed, on-site Work shall commence no earlier than May 24, 2021. The Contractor shall prosecute the Work diligently and substantially complete the Work (Substantial Completion) not later than August 13, 2021.
